I was born in England and have lived on Vancouver Island most of my life. I’ve been a professional potter for over 30 years and work mainly with stoneware and porcelain. My pots are mostly wheel-thrown and are fired in a gas kiln to achieve the copper reds, celadons and other beautiful reduction glazes I love.
Although haven't attended art school, I did take wheel-throwing lessons in the beginning, and since then I’ve attended many workshops with potters from around the world.
I have a studio and gallery in my home and visitors are welcome by appointment.
Exhibitions include a retrospective “Memories” at the Cowichan Valley Arts Council. My work has been accepted into the Sooke Fine Arts Show and I usually have pottery in the Cowichan Valley Fine Arts Show and other events held by CVAC.
