Susan Delatour LePoidevin graduated with a BA degree in the History of Art and Craft from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1976, studied at the Sun Valley Centre for the Arts in Idaho and the Banff Centre in Alberta before moving to B.C. in 1980.
From that time to the present, she has concentrated primarily on low fire primitive-fired sculptures.
In recent years, she has set up a Potter's Guild and Community Clay Studio in Princeton, BC where she teaches pottery classes to
adults and children. She is also available to give workshops in handbuilding and
sawdust firing to guilds, schools, or other groups across BC and Canada.
Susan's work has been exhibited in galleries and juried shows across Canada as well as internationally including the U.S, Great Britain, Taiwan and Korea. Susan's work can be viewed at Fired-Up Annual Show and Sale in May in Metchosin, BC or at her studio showroom in Princeton, BC.
