I take my inspirations from contemporary events of the
times that we live in. I use clay as a medium to
address contemporary issues in politics, the ecology,
and human sexuality. The Millennium Plate Project is a
thematic concept, that uses the changeover of the
millennium, to make, embellish and amass a series of
large platters, that somehow reflect the news, and
current events of that period of time.It is available
for exhibition, in any galleries that might be
interested.
For the past few years I have been a member of the
Burnaby Potter's guild, where I concentrate on
producing functional ware that reflects my love and
concern for the use of the handmade object in our
daily lives, and rituals.
